We are delighted to welcome Suffolk-based Kinda Forest School as our most recent FSA Recognised Forest School Provider. The following words from Mell Harrison, CIC Director and Facilitator, say so much: “Every single one of us from our 1-year-olds to our 90-plus year olds at Kinda Forest School are so excited that we can wave the FSA Provider flag high! We know that ‘full fat’, six principled up to the eyeballs Forest School is magic! It really does do all the things that the studies say it does; and for all ages. Having all the principles working together holistically creates something unique. Watching children, young people and adults build community within nature, in ways that suit each individual, is not just a joy to be part of but is what wider society needs right now. This planet needs a tribe of children and adults who are deeply re-connected to nature, ourselves and each other: we are all nature! We have so much gratitude for all of the FS folk that make us the tribe we are, and so much gratitude for the FSA supporting us locally and nationally to grow our movement to enable us to hold FS space for all!
