KFS Wednesday – Glorious Mud
What a glorious wet and mud full day. The ponds were full - including the flood pond, the oaks golden, the hazel ochre yellow. Eloise and Mell did more work on the tree house with decking found in the back of a lorry by Rachel. Tris and Jack coated in mud, climbed up the first… Continue reading KFS Wednesday – Glorious Mud

KFS Wednesday October – tarp
Autumn colours, fungi funnels. Mell admitted to being a time traveller, and actually living 400 years into the future. How is it there we asked? People live much simpler now, far fewer people as so many had died with climate change. They don't have phones any more (they've learnt lesson about taking rare metals from… Continue reading KFS Wednesday October – tarp
KFS Monday October
Autumn colours, fungi galore with circles of inside-outies, (Clitocybe). Kym had organised new fresh worms for our wormery which we added. Hide and seek, adults hiding under leaves, kids seeking. The wild man of the woods, green man, appears in medieval Europe, usually covered with hair, naked and with a stick. … Continue reading Woodwose to Kaliwoods
October – Motors & Bikes, spears, tarps, fungi and the entire planetary system mapped out.
While Maya was in the quiet zone, (a nest of tranquility and quilts made by Jadzia), her sister Grace countered with almost all day swinging on the swing, swung by Gabrielle and Luis. Lewin smashed the new bike trailer, easily taking off the rotten wood - another project, and yet another bike project a Dutch… Continue reading October – Motors & Bikes, spears, tarps, fungi and the entire planetary system mapped out.
The day the Earth Arrived
James Nobbs delivered our earth to us. Made out of hundreds of knives, spoons, forks, it was fashioned by James to be 32cm in diameter, which is the scale the earth is for our woodland Solar System.
KFS Wednesday October – Fungi
The day the Earth arrived, we found fungi in the wood with Neil, Bo taught Kym the Mars dance and Jadzia made boxes and heath drink. Any fungi jokes? Not Mush room here - any Fun Guys? We had Neil Mahler visit Kinda Forest School, opportunistically a few days after our last rain when fungi… Continue reading KFS Wednesday October – Fungi
