Jupiter
It's the biggest of planets. A huge gas planet. Very early on it's material was found - literally. Of all the debris left behind in the wood, a long piece of black pipping left by previous owners, fitted the possibility. Working with the Swedish model the diameter of Jupiter is 3.5 meters, (compared to Earths… Continue reading Jupiter
October – Motors & Bikes, spears, tarps, fungi and the entire planetary system mapped out.
While Maya was in the quiet zone, (a nest of tranquility and quilts made by Jadzia), her sister Grace countered with almost all day swinging on the swing, swung by Gabrielle and Luis. Lewin smashed the new bike trailer, easily taking off the rotten wood - another project, and yet another bike project a Dutch… Continue reading October – Motors & Bikes, spears, tarps, fungi and the entire planetary system mapped out.
The day the Earth Arrived
James Nobbs delivered our earth to us. Made out of hundreds of knives, spoons, forks, it was fashioned by James to be 32cm in diameter, which is the scale the earth is for our woodland Solar System.

Venus
Venus is the second planet from the Sun and the sixth largest. Venus' orbit of the sun is 224.65 earth days, which means that a year on Venus is 61.5% as long as a year on Earth. The period of rotation for Venus is 243 days. In other words, Venus takes 243 days to turn… Continue reading Venus
Mercury
Mercury is the smallest and innermost planet in the Solar System. Mercury is the closest planet to the sun. As such, it orbits the sun faster than all the other planets, at 87.87 earth days which is perhaps why Romans named it after their swift-footed messenger god. It rotates on its axis exactly three times… Continue reading Mercury
