Community Forest School

‘It Takes a Village to Raise a Child’ and we can BE that village together.

COMMUNITY Forest School started in March 2022 and continues into 2023.

It’s a tribe for children AND adults, especially those who are a child at heart.

Community Forest School brings people of all ages together to kindle a community fire. Grounding and connecting through exploration of nature, crafting, games, projects, fun, collective campfire cooking, stories and the beautiful wildlife of Kaliwoods.

The group is new and hopes to gather our parent and child tribes with our elders tribe, whilst opening to the wider community. Come and be a part of this exciting new project!

Who: A tribe for all ages of our community ‘Community Forest School’ aims to be inclusive of all ages, babe to elder, for families or individuals over the age of 18 wishing to feel socially supported.

Cost: Courtesy of a local trust we have some limited funding to support this, but in order to create a viable and continuing group for the future, we have a tiered donation system. This is based on being for one adult +1 free child/young person (under 16), this includes tea/coffee and a bring a veg collective campfire lunch.
If you can afford to choose the higher tier, this will enable us to run more sessions, and to be more flexible towards those for whom cost is an issue.
