Community Forest School

COMMUNITY Forest School is starting up on the LAST SATURDAY OF MARCH! Hooray!

‘It Takes a Village to Raise a Child” and we can BE that village together.

This is a first! It’s a tribe for children AND adults, especially those who are a child at heart.

Community Forest School brings people of all ages together to kindle a community fire. Grounding and connecting through exploration of nature, crafting, games, projects, fun, collective camp fire cooking, stories and the beautiful wildlife of Kaliwoods.

The group is new and hopes to gather our parent and child tribes with our elders tribe, whilst opening to the wider community. Come and be a part of this exciting new project!

Where: Kinda Forest School, Kali Wood, Holton IP19 8NQ

When: Saturdays, starting March 26th 2022, on a monthly basis at start, increasing in May to twice monthly  10-1pm, with a shared lunch at 12pm

If you are booking for more than one adult please and let us know so we can prepare our session for all.

Who: A tribe for all ages of our community ‘Community Forest School’ aims to be inclusive of all ages, babe to elder, for families or individuals over the age of 18 wishing to feel socially supported.

Cost: Courtesy of a local trust we have some limited funding to support this, but in order to create a viable and continuing group for the future we ask for a suggested donation of between £3 to £10 per session per adult +1 free child/young person (under 16), this includes tea/coffee and a bring a veg collective campfire lunch.

If you can afford £10 or more this will enable us to run more sessions, and to be more flexible towards those for whom cost is an issue.

In order to plan for the sessions, booking needs to be done ahead of time and ideally half termly/termly.

Contact for more information or if the cost stops you from attending.

And book early to avoid disappointment (limited numbers only) . ..
