Kinda Forest School is a Forest School centred around the principles of kindness and permaculture within the forest school context to provide children, young people and adults with a holistic experience of education.
Our Monday Forest School is for young people who have disabilities, learning difficulties and/or special educational needs. It is a small group where within nature we explore, create, learn conservation skills, cook food and share time together in the woods.
Mondays run from 10am – 2.30pm, We will cook and share lunch together and close our day around the fire.
These sessions are participant-led and centred around each individuals’ interests and unique journeys. The sessions will have a gentle emphasis on personal development, communication skills, social connection building and on taking great care of people’s physical and emotional well-being.
We will work together on woodland projects, forest gardening, crafts, tool work, woodland maintenance and habitat care, nature connection invitations and cooking delicious food together! We can support personal targets or goals people wish to aim towards.
Our team of Kinda staff have a depth and breadth of experience of supporting people with SEND to fulfil their passions, interests and to find new things they enjoy.
Mondays cost is £72, which includes a camp fire lunch, snack and drinks through the day.
These sessions can be personally funded or paid for from a Personal Health Budget, Personal Independence Payment or via referral with the Local Authority.
Kinda Education is Quality Assured for SEND and Alternative Provision by Suffolk County Council

There is a cost of £7 per support worker assisting, to cover food and resources.
Kaliwood is a beautiful inspiring woodland, in Holton, not far from Halesworth. There is a covered camp fire to keep us warm, cook our food, share stories craft, meet new friends and build community. We hope to meet you there…
